This artist’s book accompanies award-winning artist Edmund Clark’s exhibition In Place of Hate at Ikon Gallery.
Clark’s work links history, politics and representation, often through the medium of photography.
For the past 3 years he has been Ikon’s artist in residence at Europe’s only entirely therapeutic prison, HMP Grendon, in Buckinghamshire. This exhibition is the culmination of his residency, comprising photography, video and installation.
